About Laura
You might say it was Laura’s destiny to become a Realtor® in North Vancouver. After all, she grew up here and was raised on real estate. The eldest daughter of Team Clarke’s Founder, Shirley Clarke, Laura witnessed firsthand the role Realtors® play in helping people find homes, and to a larger extent, in fostering connection and building resilient, healthy communities.
Not surprisingly, upon completing her B.F.A and B. Ed from the University of British Columbia, and after a brief career as a High School English & Drama Teacher, Laura became a licensed Realtor®. Driving Laura is a passion for North Vancouver, its people, and the desire to continue her mother’s legacy.
Laura has been an annual member of the Medallion Club and has received the Team President’s Club Award from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver as well as the Realtors Care Award for Team Clarke’s work with ALS.
Laura’s passion for people, approachable style and transparency, paired with her extensive experience and industry knowledge make her invaluable to her clients and a pillar in the community. She lives in Edgemont Village with her husband Chris, and their two daughters Emerson & Harper. In the Summer they can be found Friday nights at the Shipyards enjoying music and mini donuts from the food carts. In the Winter they take advantage of living just down the hill from Grouse Mountain where their daughters are in the Tyee Ski racing program.
Laura’s children attend Highlands Elementary school, where she is an frequent volunteer, and enjoy popping into their mom’s Edgemont Village office on their way home to say hello.
